National Seminar on ‘Development Targets of BD and Relevance of the Right to Food Act'
National Seminar on ‘Development Targets of Bangladesh and Relevance of the Right to Food Act’ held on October 18, 2018, Sunday, 9.30 am at CIRDAP International Conference Center (CICC), Dhaka. The event was jointly organized by Right to Food Bangladesh, Christian Aid, ICCO COOPERATION and Civic Engagement Alliance. Honorable Minister, Md. Qamrul Islam MP, Ministry of Food has graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Quazi Rowshan Akhter, Director General, Department of Women Affairs, GOB presented as Special Guest. Dr. Nazneen Ahmad, Senior Research Fellow, BIDS attended as Honorable Guest to grace the event. Eminent Economist Dr. Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, Chairman, Right to Food Bangladesh and PKSF chaired the National Seminar. Mohsin Ali, General Secretary, Right to Food Bangladesh and Executive Director of WAVE Foundation delivered welcome speech while other distinguished guests with a wide range of participants from different segments attended the program.
